February 2008:  Bluemania Hot Buttered Rum earns CFA's Premier Title.  Way to go, Butter!

 

January 2008:  We have kittens!  Coby and Amber welcomed 7 new bundles of joy on January 4th. 

 

December 2007:  Maggie earns TICA's Supreme Grand Champion title!

 

October 2007: Archie and Amber (Sapphira) had their echocardiograms done Oct 1st at OSU and both were normal, no signs of HCM.  Hoorah!  Bluemania Hot Buttered Rum (aka. Butter) makes his show hall debut at the Prairie State Cat Club in Franklin Park, IL.  Earning two 3rd places in specialty class and one 3rd place in all-breed class.  We are so very proud of this special boy and we thank Micheline England for showing and loving him.

 

July 2007: Archie earns his Supreme Grand Champion title in only 3 shows and at only 9 months old!  We simply couldn't  be more pleased with this beautiful boy and he has such a wonderful personality, too.

 

June 2007: Archie earns a Champion title in CFA!  RW, SGC Velvet Jewels Cobalt of Bluemania (Coby) earns TICA's 2nd Best Blue Classic Tabby Maine Coon for 2007. CH Calicoon Sapphira of Bluemania (Amber) earns TICA's 3rd Best Blue Classic Torbie Maine Coon for 2007.   Amber & Coby welcomed their latest arrival of 5 girls and 2 boys on June 11, 2007.

 

May 2007:  Bluemania welcomes MTNest Mary Magdalene (aka. Maggie) to our family.  We are thrilled to have this beautiful girl as an addition to our breeding program.  Maggie is planned to make her show hall debut in June 2007.  Many thanks to our dear friends, Dave & Judy Bernbaum for letting us have Maggie. 

Archie finished the TICA 2006 show season placing 13th Best All-Breed Kitten in the Great Lakes Region making him a Regional Winner.  We're very proud of our first Bluemania boy and he loves the attention, too. 

 

February 2007:  Missy and Coby welcomed a litter of 3 females and 1 male on February 4, 2007.  Archie kicked off his show career with a bang and he's loving every minute of the attention!

 

December 2006:  We are excited at the anticipation of Coby & Missy's early February litter.  We're proud to introduce the newest Bluemania boy, Bluemania Golden Arches, aka Archie, out of Coby & Amber's September litter.  Archie is a cream classic tabby, negative for the one known DNA mutation associated with HCM & is just a love.  Check him out on our male's page.

October 2006:  Coby & Amber welcomed a litter of five chubby kittens into the world - see our kittens page for more!

June 2006: The 2005-2006 Season Results are in for the Great Lakes (TICA) Region and we're overjoyed with our winners.  Coby is now Regional Winner, Supreme Grand Champion Velvet Jewels Cobalt of Bluemania.  He finished the show season as 12^th Best AB Kitten, 2^nd Best Maine Coon Kitten, 20^th Best Longhair Cat & Best Blue Tabby Maine Coon.  Not only was Coby a big winner, Missy also earned the distinction of Best Silver Classic Tabby & White Maine Coon.

May 2006:  We feel very blessed to be able to report the following health screening information:  Coby, Amber & Missy all screened clear of HCM at Ohio State University.  Missy is free of the one known DNA mutation associated with HCM.  Coby's hips have also been analyzed & those results will follow.

April 2006:  After an exciting last show of the season, in Connecticut, we're thrilled to have our very first Supreme Grand Champion - Velvet Jewels Cobalt of Bluemania!  Coby earned the title in just 3 shows. Our heartfelt thanks go to Roxann & Van Rokicki of Velvet Jewels for this handsome & laidback boy.

December 2005: This past weekend in Ohio, Amber (Calicoon Sapphira of Bluemania) earned the title of CHAMPION.  We couldn't be more proud of our sweet & beautiful girl.  Thanks again to Lynne Sherer.
